Additional Description:Traditional art made on a virtual art tablet (wacom) using painting software, printed and texturized using acrylics and gesso paints.
During my travels to California from Texas, my family and I came across a herd of buffalo—not a usual site to see such a large herd of these awesome animals. It felt like we were in the wild west.
Artist StatementBeing an emotional artist, I like to create what moves me. I use an art software program on a Wacom tablet along with acrylics and acrylic resin to create softness and bright texture to my work.
My paintings capture moments in time, I use photographs to help me capture those moments. The world is in a constant state of flux and is made of moments in time, and I like to bring out and capture their joy and preserve these memories though my art. My influences are everything I see, feel and experience.

What I Love Doing
Besides being creative, I enjoy time with my family, pets and traveling.
What I Find Beautiful
Simplicity, I really relate to the simple beauty of things, like when my dogs are so happy to see me after being gone for just 5 minutes, hugs, a rainbow after a storm, my daughter calling me each day to just say hi, corny but simple things my way of living. hmmmm
My Favorite Memory
The first thing that pops in my mind was when I was a little girl and we lived overseas. There was man who gave rides on his pet elephant. Yep a pet elephant, it was awesome. I remember climbing up a step ladder to get on this giant creature, and it felt like I was on top of the world very scary and fun at the same time.
My Favorite Art Style
Illustration (cartoons), when I first started drawing art, I thought about being a cartoonist at one time but it's more then just drawing cartoons there were captions to go along with cartoons and that wasn't my forte. Although I am not a cartoonist, you will see cartoon influence in my work, I still watch and love them to this day and appreciate the artistic vibe and muse they give me. Funny, because with Stories to Art I feel like it has come full circle and came back to what I started with.
